Bastei-Parkplatzkiosk in Lohmen

A perfect place to stop after a hike. The kiosk has food and drinks that are delicious and where the price is right. You can also buy souvenirs. The staff is very friendly.

Has everything you need at really reasonable prices for a tourist hotspot. The pickles were really delicious, you can always take them with you.

Expensive and a bit chaotic at peak times. This is of course due to the location that every tourist should be aware of if he wants to buy something there. On a positive note, there are not only food and drinks but also a number of souvenirs from Saxon Switzerland.

Still a lot cheaper than 200m further on at the Basteihotel, but still marginal in price. 3.30 for a bottle of cyclist or a sprite is already violent, but the tourists just pay it. For me as a "resident nearby" it is no longer an option.

Simple kiosk at the Bastei parking lot. Here you get everything you need. There are great postcards and stamps too. The food is good home cooking. The baked goods were all handmade. The prices are a joke. There are simple seating options. You have to be patient with the orders. The staff is very nice and tried hard.

Great snack and souvenirs. The food is great and perfect for a break after the hike through the Schwedenlöcher, past the Amselsee and over the Bastei.

Typical kiosk at a tourist magnet. Truly nothing special but without the bastion that can be reached in 10 minutes it is not worth a detour.

I am delighted - all homemade Saxon specialties at reasonable prices. I actually expected canned food for the money, but got really good food. From Spreewald cucumber to hand over Quarkkeulchen (3.80 €) to the Saxon potato salad (2.80 €), there's regional snack food under shady trees. Just right, after exploring the bastion. Otherwise a lot of unnecessary nibbles at the kiosk, but the food is worth it!

Not everything you want, but friendly.

After the early ascent to the bastion through the Schwedenlöcher, I was looking forward to a hearty breakfast. Kiosk had already been opened but unfortunately there was nothing to strengthen except a herring roll from the Bismarck. Staff very friendly and hard-working. Maybe next time I will try it a few minutes later that I can fill in the holes in Sweden or with the bastion view.

A good snack shortly after the parking lot in front of the famous bastion. In addition to food and drink, there are still typical things that a kiosk has to offer. The food can be enjoyed directly on the spot outdoors.

Friendly, funny and handy to pick up a snack and a drink on your hike. I expect it's crazy busy in the summer, but off season it was perfect. Loads of tour books maps and gifts for sale as well.

Kiosk at the entrance to Bastei. Staff it goes free, prices friendly. Usually this parking lot is full. But the car can be left in the P + R parking lot by approx. 2.7 km earlier and walk or shuttle bus.
